Everything in the pack, poster folded inside the envelope. Contents may vary slightly. Each pack is assembled by Pat, who has strong views about which stickers people deserve.

What's in the envelope

  • Lifetime membership in the recipient's name, with a membership number and the right to put N.O.B. after it.
  • A printed certificate on heavy card, signed on behalf of the Executive by Pat. Frameable. Loo-able.
  • The A4 poster, your choice of the four designs, for their window.
  • A sticker sheet. An A4 sheet of the arms, slogans and endorsements, for the car, the bin, and any objection poster found in the wild.
  • The Objection Pad. Ten pre-printed objection forms with tick boxes for traffic, character, newts and "other". Just add a signature and a grievance.
  • A gift card with your message, or ours: "Someone thinks you object too much. They're right."

Everything is posted second class in a stiff envelope, to you or straight to them. Allow 14 days, or as long as it takes Pat to find the stamps. You can see every item in the pack at true size before you buy.

Who it's for

The father-in-law who wrote to the council about your loft. The neighbour who "just wanted to check" what the skip was for. The friend who describes every new building as "a monstrosity" before it has been built. The aunt who once objected to a bench and still brings it up. Anyone with a Range Rover and a view.

Gift pack questions

Can I give one to someone who supports development?

Yes. It's called an intervention. The Objection Pad will show them the way.

Can I send it anonymously?

Yes. Tick the box and the gift card is signed "A Concerned Neighbour". We recommend sending it straight to them, so nothing links the envelope to your handwriting. They will never know it was you. Pat will, but Pat knows everything and has never once told.

Can I give one to myself?

Of course. Put your own name in both boxes and choose "straight to them". The gift card will say it's from you, which is the kind of self-regard the association admires.

What if they already have a membership?

They get a second number, which is two more than most people. The certificate can go in a different room.

Is it a real professional qualification?

See the FAQ. In short, it is real in the sense that someone paid for it, which is more than can be said for a great many titles.
